This was touched on last week, when we were asked whose first major film was The Blue Angel (General Knowledge, Question 17). Granted the song wasn't mentioned (except in my note, which was only published after these questions were asked), but if you know that Marlene Dietrich had a major role in the film then it's a short step to guessing that it was she who sang it.
